Traps to Avoid
Ecommerce web sites open up some additional responsibilities for the online merchant. You will have a duty of care regarding your customers personal details and rights to privacy. How you use and store customer information can be a real risk.

• Avoid web hosting and ecommerce services based outside Australia. These services are not liable (as you are) under Australia's tough privacy laws.
• If you consider subscribing (monthly, per product or per transaction charges) to a service provided by a particular web hosting company, think about portability. Should you have a problem with that provider your whole store may be stuck with them. Our solution can be run on any ISP providing a standard Windows Hosting platform.
• Online transactions necessitate customers providing much more personal information than do "over the counter" sales. DO NOT RELY on technology only to safeguard unauthorised access to this information. Be cautious when quoted "SSL" or "Encryption Algorithms" as the magic answer.

Easy to use?
That's how we designed it. Most of our customer have been able to start using the online store administration with no more than 15 minutes tuition over the phone. We guarantee to provide all assistance necessary for you to be able to get full use from our product at NO ADDITIONAL COST to you. Our policy has always been that consultation is always FREE.

Don't forget that we are flexible. If there is a special feature you require, we can most likely be able to help with some customisation to our standard offering.

Don't really need ecommerce ?
If you just want to get your products displayed via an on-line catalogue, no problem. In fact we can do this with a cut-down version of our standard e-com solution. This way if you decide to later sell your products on-line, it is relatively easy and inexpensive to re-enable the full set of features without redesigning your whole web site.
